1977 BMW R75/7 Custom

1977 BMW R75/7 Custom

Born as a ‘77 R75/7 — we’ve customized this bike with features indicative of earlier generations of BMW, and some features that are entirely new.

The most striking feature on this bike is the Heinrich-style fuel tank. Initially designed in the 70’s by Bavarians eager to cross the Alps without a fill up, the 10-gallon tank makes for enduro-race fuel capacity but with sleek design. The low center of gravity is preserved regardless of how much fuel is remaining in the tank, as the weight of the liquid shifts lower and lower below the frame as it depletes: a great bit of ingenuity.

Also featured on this bike:

• A fully custom GPS speedometer and bucket — incredibly accurate.
• Valve covers from the /5 generation.
• Stainless steel /5 generation side covers.
• Hella-styled bar-end turn signals.
• German-made custom cafe racer solo saddle.
• Progressive rear suspension.
• Firestone tires.
• Custom upset reverse megaphone exhaust.
• Upgraded RT model front master brake cylinder.
• Norman Hyde “M” bars.
• Custom front fender.
• Stainless steel brake lines.
• Velocity stack intakes.
• Italian-made foot controls.

This is a one-of-a-kind vintage BMW that is equal parts classy and race custom.
