1974 Honda CB450

1974 Honda CB450

The CB450 was Honda’s first “big displacement” twin-cylinder model, announcing their arrival in all motorcycle segments, which would lead to their market dominance throughout the 1970’s. Plenty of power in a nimble chassis, these are a pleasure to ride.

This model is a very clean example. All of the paint and metal surfaces are beautiful and the bike has been well-maintained by our shop for several years. Some of the tasteful modifications include a comfortable solo saddle that uses the stock mounts (for an easy re-set to the factory bench if desired), slip on mufflers that sound great, and Deco bar end turn signals. The inside of the wheel hubs have been powder coated black and the rims are flawless. It has an aftermarket, low profile tail light with integrated license plate bracket.

Regarding functionality, the bike starts easily and runs great. It has been given an electronic ignition upgrade. The front brake caliper has been rebuilt with fresh piston and seal. It has a new front brake master cylinder with stainless steel upper brake line. The tires look close to new. It has aftermarket air filters and an AGM battery.

This bike is worth seeing in person.
