1973 Triumph T150V Trident

1973 Triumph T150V Trident

A unique machine n the long history of British motorcycles, the T150V Trident is powered by a 741cc traverse inline 3-cylinder motor. It happens that 1973 was a very important year for Triumph, and the Trident was part of a big launch forward. The T150V benefitted by receiving the newly offered 5-speed transmission (hence the “V”), new hardware, and a front disc brake. They also handle quite well. To the pleasure of its fans, the Trident was just old enough to still have a right-footed shift lever.

Our model is a very nice, well-preserved example. We’ve fitted it with Avon Roadrider tires. It has new spark plug caps and wires. It has the European-styled lower handlebars equipped. We’ve installed new brake lines. One of the only non-original components is the aftermarket 3-into-1 exhaust system and air cleaners (it does sound quite good)!
